Do I have to provide my own lock?
Yes. You can use a padlock that you already own or you can buy one in our moving shop located in the Annexx center closest to you. You can then choose a key lock or a combination lock.
Can I access my unit at night?
You can access your storage unit from 6am to 11pm, 7 days a week, in most centers. For extended access, please contact your advisor. Our reception areas are open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 12:30pm and from 1:15pm to 5:30pm, and on Saturday from 9am to 1pm.
How do you fight against rodents? Do you ensure site cleanliness?
Each Annexx building is treated against rodents and pests every month. In order to deter these pests, we prohibit the storage of non-hermetically sealed foodstuffs.
Am I required to take out insurance for my storage unit?
Yes.
As with any real estate rental, you are required to take out an insurance policy.
You can take out insurance directly with Annexx advisors when signing your storage unit rental contract.
If you prefer to use your own insurer, please contact them to ensure that they offer coverage for storage.
In either case, your monthly fee will vary depending on the declared value of the items you wish to store. Learn more about insurance here.
Do you offer moving trucks or a discount on their rental?
Yes. We have negotiated rates with several partner companies for moving truck rental. Learn more about these rates by contacting your advisors.
What is the rental contract duration?
unit rental contracts have a one-month duration, tacitly renewable. There is no commitment period: you can cancel it at any time and without fees (only 15-day notice required).
